Acoustiflex® Green Flexible Acoustic Barrier
Acoustiflex® Green is a specially engineered product for use in noise insulation. Acoustiflex® Green has a high mass to stiffness ratio and because of its limpness offers very good low and high frequency sound attenuation.
Coincidence & low frequency resonance are neutralised to a great degree.
Environmental Information
- Acoustiflex® Green is 100% biodegradable
- Acoustiflex® Green can be disposed of in any landfill with no possibility of environmental damages.

- Acoustiflex® Green is 100% safe and non-toxic, so there are no special requirements for handling.
- Because Acoustiflex® Green is made up almost entirely of water, it DOES NOT BURN!
Manufacturing:
- Acoustiflex® Green requires very little energy forr manufacture
- It can be easily coloured
- The raw material required to produce Acoustiflex® Green is available world-wide
- The 'filler' is the same calcium-carbonate as in Acoustiflex® F
- Acoustiflex® Green does not require a curing oven
- Acoustiflex® Green does not require gluing when applied during manufacturing
- Acoustiflex® Green can be nailed to stud walls or laminated to curved surfaces
- Acoustiflex® Green adheres to plasterboard surfaces more securely and easily than Acoustiflex®
